Kris Statlander, made her surprise return at Sunday night’s AEW Double or Nothing and defeated Jade Cargill in an impromptu match, after being out of action since last August from a torn ACL.
According to Fightful Select, AEW had plans for Statlander as the person to take the TBS Championship from Cargill, going back at least several weeks. It was also said that AEW plans to give Cargill requested time off. She may take time off soon, if not immediately.
Fightful Select also concluded that when Cargill returns, the plan is to have her come back with as a babyface.
