AEW star “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry turned on his JungleHOOK partner, FTW Champion HOOK at this past Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view view, thus turning heel in the process.
Perry was unsuccessful in capturing the IWGP World Heavyweight Tile from SANADA. Perry was accompanied to the ring by HOOK. Perry turned on HOOK after he was helping Perry to the back following the match.
According to a report from Fightful Select, the babyface-friendly theme for Perry is changing which will of course go along with his heel turn.
The report also notes new ring entrance theme has been created for him.
Perry has been using Baltimora’s “Tarzan Boy” song since 2021, which has been way over with the fans.
