In the latest update on Jade Cargill’s status, the former TBS Champion has been removed from AEW’s roster page on their website.
Fightful Select reported Cargill will be in Orlando this week at the WWE Performance Center, and “is expected to sign with the company as of now.”
Cargill returned to AEW on the 9/15 edition of AEW Rampage, where she challenged Kris Statlander for the TBS Championship but was unsuccessful.
Cargill made her in-ring debut on March 3, 2021 by teaming with Shaquille O’Neal to take on Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet, a match that saw Jade pin Velvet to take the win and begin a long winning streak that carried her through an impressive reign of 508 days as the first-ever TBS Champion.
That reign finally came to an end at Double or Nothing 2023, when a returning Kris Statlander defeated Cargill for the title moments after Jade defeated Taya Valkyrie to retain.
