Former IMPACT Knockouts Champion reportedly has talked with AEW

According to Fightful Select and F4WOnline, former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion and current free agent Deonna Purrazzo has talked with AEW about a contract.

Per Fightful Select, AEW is said to be “hopeful” they can sign the 29-year-old Purrazzo and that AEW is her preferred destination.

As it pertains to WWE, Fightful Select Purrazzo has had contact with the industry leader, but that “most if not all” of WWE’s free agent talks were put on hold until the beginning of 2024. Purrazzo was in WWE from 2015 through 2020 and mainly appeared in NXT, with just a few appearances on the main roster.

Purrazzo previously appeared in an AEW ring, where she defended the ROH Women’s World has appeared in an AEW ring on the May 4, 2022 episode of Dynamite. She lost the title to Mercedes Martinez. During this time, Purrazzo was still under contract with IMPACT.

She finished up with IMPACT Wrestling at last month’s Final Resolution PPV.
