Following a recent announcement that he is now a free agent, LuchaBlog has reported that Black Taurus has signed with AEW and ROH…with an asterisk.
According to the report, the former AAA star faces some complications regarding his name and gimmick, with Black Taurus being the talent’s name outside the Mexican promotion and simply Taurus within it.
The issues mirror that of Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix a few years back, who competed as Pentagon Jr. and Fenix in AAA and companies with a working relationship, notably IMPACT and Lucha Underground, but taking on new names in other promotions.
The situation comes after Taurus wrestled at ROH Final Battle and on AEW Rampage in December 2023.
