Fightful Select has reported that QT Marshall, who was last seen in AEW in October 2023, has returned to the company in a non-wrestling capacity.
The report, which was later confirmed by Dave Meltzer, notes that Marshall takes on a more executive role in his return, with the deal allowing him to compete for other promotions except WWE.
The former AAA Latin American Champion announced his resignation from AEW in late November, noting the company’s change from its early days and feeling a need to go a different direction at the time.
Since his departure, Marshall has also joined up with Teil Rhodes to revive her father Dusty’s promotion Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling, which held its first event on February 8 with the likes of Glacier, Scotty Riggs, and Marshall.
