Tony Khan took to social media to announce that the Meat Madness match at AEW Revolution would be ‘on ice’ due to injury.
Originally slated for the match were Powerhouse Hobbs, Wardlow, and Lance Archer, all three of whom were revealed as participants in the All-Star 8-Man Scramble, leading to speculation on who might’ve been intended to compete in the now-postponed affair.
Other participants announced as of Dynamite include Chris Jericho, HOOK, and Brian Cage, with two qualifying matches taking place to determine the final two competitors.
Magnus will face Matt Sydal on Rampage, and a three-way match between Penta El Zero Miedo, Dante Martin, and Bryan Keith on Collision will determine the final competitor in the PPV bout.
AEW Revolution takes place Sunday, March 3 from the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
