Sting and Darby Allin retained the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Sunday night’s AEW Revolution.
AEW CEO, President and General Manager Tony Khan announced during the media scrum, following a question about the tag team titles, that they will be vacated and there will be a tournament on Dynamite and Collision. Khan said that there will be more information soon.
Before Sting and Darby Allin came out to answer questions, Tony Khan announced Darby Allin vs. Jay White for the Big Business episode of Dynamite in Boston on March 13.
Allin also noted during the scrum that he has been cleared by doctors to climb Mt. Everest. He said that he leaves on March 27.
