AEW talent faces Memphis mascot at NBA game

AEW had something of a unique representation at today’s Memphis Grizzlies game against the Oklahoma Thunder.

During halftime, Satnam Singh was set to wrestle five men, with only four showing and being soundly defeated by the former basketball player.

Things would culminate during the third quarter of the game as Satnam’s fifth opponent would finally appear, revealing himself as Grizzlies mascot Super Grizz.

Following a quick display against the much taller Singh and a swipe at Jeff Jarrett on commentary, Grizz hit a cross body from the commentary booth onto Jarrett’s pal in the ring for the pin and the win.

This action followed Satnam and Jarrett stealing the Grind City Lifetime Achievement Championship from Jerry Lawler.

The fun was short-lived for Grizzlies fans, however, as Memphis would ultimately lose to the Thunder 112-118.
