After less than one-year AEW is no longer available on TelevisaUnivision

Less than one-year after signing a multi-year streaming deal with TelevisaUnivision, AEW is no longer available on the ViX platform. This is the second international broadcast deal that has quietly disappeared.

According to F4WOnlinea support page revealed the news with a brief statement. It was said that the page does not contain a date, but that an HTML source code view shows it was last updated back on March 13th.

The deal, which was first put in place last July, was set to bring AEW’s weekly television programming and other content to the premium tier of the ViX streaming service which is available throughout Mexico and some Latin America and Caribbean countries.

As of this writing, F4WOnline said their inquiries for comment to both AEW and TelevisaUnivision have yet to be answered.

F4WOnline also notes that according to international fans on Reddit, AEW is now no longer available on DAZN, despite both sides signing a multi-year deal for 42 markets last January.

In the recent past, AEW also announced a deal with ESPN for broadcast in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. However, per F4WOnline, despite the lack of a presence on the AEW “how to watch” page, there is no indication that deal, or other ones with partners like ITV, EuroSport, Sky or TNT in Germany or Africa, are no longer in place.

The report notes that on that page, AEW directs fans outside North America to use the AEW Plus subscription on TrillerTV. The only broadcast partners that are listed is TBS and TNT for domestic viewers and TSN for Canadian viewers.
