AEW star Dax Harwood posted a video on social media revealing that he has been taken off the road due to a back injury.
Harwood said that he injured his lower back at the Dynasty pay-per-view during the ladder match against the Young Bucks. He also noted he suffered a hematoma on his lower back during the match. Harwood also said the hematoma ended up blowing up after the match he and Cash Wheeler had with Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta on Saturday’s Collision.
Harwood further said the pain in his lower back has been excruciating over the past several months, but he had been hiding it because he did not want FTR to be taken off the road. He closed by saying he had an X-ray and when it with AEW’s medical team, he was immediately pulled off the road, so that things do not become worse and that potentially force him into retirement.
At the time of this writing, it is unknown when Dax will return to in-ring action.
