According to a report from PWInsider, the victim in the strangulation incident that led to the release of Bear Boulder (real name Thomas Wansaw) from AEW, filed a statement back on January 15 requesting that Wansaw not be prosecuted.
The document signed by the victim was added to the court records last Friday and notes to the State Attorney’s Office, Orange County, Florida that she does not desire the case to be prosecuted further, and requests the charges to be dismissed.
When AEW learned Wansaw had been arrested back on January 14 for [domestic] battery by strangulation, they terminated him from the company.
He had been part of Iron Savages tag team alongside Bronson and Jacked Jameson.
