Below are off-air notes from Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Spring Break Thru episode and the ROH television tapings, at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, Mass.
Following the World Trios Titles win, Samoa Joe cut a promo, saying he is like Tom Brady and does not lose in Massachusetts, adding that this is where he won all his major titles.
Tony Khan, who was fired up came out and thanked everyone for being here from episode one to 289. He then hyped the special live Collision also taking place in the same venue on Thursday.
Ring of Honor Spoilers:
-ROH Women’s TV Championship Match: Red Velvet defeated La Catalina to retain: Velvet got the win with a single leg crab while using the ropes for leverage. This was Velvet’s first match since late-January due to an injury.
-Nick Wayne (w/ Mother Wayne) defeated Michael Oku (w/ Amira): The fans were into Oku. This was a surprise, as he had his last match for AEW last August. Wayne got the pin after hitting Wayne’s World after Kip Sabin interfered.
