AEW set to co-produce two tribute wrestling shows in honor of Dean Rasmussen

During his appearance on the Way of the Blade podcast, AEW’s Tony Khan, along with host Phil Schneider announced AEW is set to co-produce two tribute wrestling shows in honor of Dean Rasmussen from the DVDVR website. Rasmussen passed away in 2023.

Khan noted that AEW will work both that will will stream on the ROH YouTube Channel.

DEAN~! 2 will take place Saturday, May 24, which is the night before the Double or Nothing pay-per-view. It will be a free outdoor event and will be held near Scottsdale, Arizona. The second event, DEAN~! 3 is set to take place around the same time as the ROH Death Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view on September 5.

Gringo Loco and Mad Dog Connelly, who took part in the first event have been announced for DEAN~!2 and DEAN~!3.

ACTION DEAN~! was the first tribute show which was held last April, that featured Alex Kane, Colby Corino, Tom Lawlor, Warhorse, Slim J and Timothy Thatcher.
