In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Tony Khan was asked about Jim Ross in the midst of a conversation surrounding All In Texas.
Ross, who announced last week he was cancer-free, credited the AEW President for being “amazingly wonderful” throughout the recovery process.
Khan responded by calling Ross “an indispensable part of AEW,” citing his storied career in the business before stating:
It’s so great to hear that Jim is doing better now, and we’re all wishing J.R. the best in his recover. Everyone in AEW loves J.R. and he has been a huge part of AEW from the very beginning. It’s great to have him in AEW now as part of the tema, and I can’t wait to have J.R. back when he’s ready and healthy to go, which hopefully is soon, and it’s just a blessing that J.R. has been recovering from his health challenges.
When asked if Ross would be on the call for All In, Khan said that it would be amazing though he “didn’t want to put too much on Jim’s plate.”
