According to Fightful Select, Danhausen’s AEW contract was set to expire back on July 1. However, he had injury time from his torn pec added to his deal that will keep him in AEW “well into” 2026.
The report notes that Danhausen had requested that AEW not pick up the final year of his contract and to just let him go, as he was ready to exit the company. AEW still has no plans creatively for him.
