Kota Ibushi provided fans with an update on his situation via Instagram, following an injury sustained during a Collision taping.
Ibushi, who suffered a broken femur during a match against Josh Alexander, revealed the timeline his doctors gave on how long he would be out, with his own optimism on how soon he could return to action:
One year to fully recover. Two years until I can step into the ring again. I believe in myself more than the doctors. I absolutely don’t believe in that. I know I have amazing DNA that gives me the ability to heal!!
This is the latest of a series of injury issues for the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, who recently returned to action after injuring his ankle in January 2024 during a match in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
