AEW’s Hologram posted to social media that he is recovering from knee surgery.
During the September 27 episode of Collision, AEW did an angle with Hologram being taken out backstage by Kyle Fletcher. Hologram was scheduled to challenge Fletcher for the TNT Championship on the following Dynamite. During the segment, an El Clon vignette appeared on the TV screen in the background, with the lights going out, allowing Fletcher to come in and lay out Hologram. It was later revealed that Clon was the newest member of the Don Callis Family.
AEW head Tony Khan later announced on X, that Hologram would likely be out the rest of this year.
Orange Cassidy stepped up to the challenge to face Fletcher for the TNT Title on the following episode of Dynamite, but came up short.
