Former WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin, who now wrestling under the in-ring name of by Bishop Dyer competed in a dark match before AEW Dynamite went on the air, live from Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida.
Dyer teamed with Better Together (Hadar Horvitz and Ori Gold) and Martin Stone, as they took a loss to Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, Brady Booker and Elijah Drago. Dyer is also set to compete in the ROH x MLP Global Wars Canada at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on March 27 and the MLW Uprising event the next night in the same venue.
Dyer and former WWE talent Donovan Dijak are the reigning MLW Tag Team Champions.
Dyer (Corbin), departed WWE in November 2024 after the company chose not to renew his contract. He signed a development deal back in 2014 and then made his main roster debut at WrestleMania 32, winning the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal after he eliminated Kane.
