During an appearance on We Playin’ Spades with Nick Cannon and Courtney Bee, former AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone’ said she is still charging fans $99 per month to text with her. Mone’ started the texting service last May.
Mone’ told Cannon and Bee, “There so many people that say ‘Oh, I’m talking to you, I’m messaging you. And they’re getting scammed. So I’m like ‘How about you really do talk to me? You talk to the people that you love, but you got to pay me $99 a month, but I’m texting you whenever I’m free.”
Cannon and Bee were shocked by the price and then asked Mone’ if she is texting “sexy stuff.” Mone’ insisted there is nothing sexy in her texts. “No, no sexy stuff. You know, these are just my legit fans. It’s the Mone’ crew, the people that love me, that respect me, that want to know the ins and outs of my day and how I’m feeling, how is it being a CEO, and I teach them.” Mone then added by saying, “It’s a low price. Very low.”
The interview released on 2/16/26, also included Mina Shirakawa and was recorded several months ago when Mone’ only had four championships.

At the end of 2025, Mone’ lost three championships: The ROH Women’s World Television Title at Final Battle against Red Velvet, the Undisputed British Women’s Title against Alex Windsor at Collision: Holiday Bash, and the TBS Championship at Dynamite: New Year’s Smash against Willow Nightingale, ending her record-setting TBS Championship reign at 584 days.
During the January 10, 2026 episode of Collision, Mone’ announced she was taking a break from AEW due to frustration over being disrespected. She said that when she returns, she is going to be better than ever. According to a previous post on her Intagram, Mone revealed she is currently in Cancun, undergoing stem cell treatment at the RejuvStem clinic. She also added that she recently visited the House of Sun spa in Los Angeles, California.
“So I’ve been really trying to enjoy this time off by really healing my body and taking care of myself. Because I want to come back to the ring better than ever. I’m going to be very busy in March because I still have a lot of championships to defend.”
