CMLL’s La Noche de Las Amazonas event saw the company’s World Women’s Championship on the line as Mercedes Moné defended against Persephone.
The finish saw Moné drop the title after a springboard frog splash by Persephone, ending a 262-day reign on the fourth title defense.
The now-former champion has spent time defending her various titles around the world since taking a break from AEW.
Moné continues to hold eight physical championship belts from Scotland, Austria, Poland, Italy, Denmark, Canada, and Malaysia, in addition to the Owen Hart Foundation Championship from winning the 2025 women’s tournament.
