Fightful Select has reported further details on the contract status of Willie Mack, following recent criticisms shared on social media about his lack of bookings in AEW.
Mack, who debuted for the company in 2023 under a “tier zero” contract, is notably still with AEW but is back to that style of agreement after spending the past two years under a full-time, salaried contract.
This comes after a report from PWInsider noted that the talent was offered a new AEW contract “some time ago” but opted not to sign it.
Since his last match for ROH in December 2025 (and his most recent AEW match proper as far back as March), Mack continues to take bookings on the independent circuit, most notably Juggalo Championship Wrestling where he holds one half of the Tag Team Championship alongside 2 Tuff Tony.
