Below are quick results with some highlights from Friday night’s AEW Rampage that aired on TNT.
Claudio Castagnoli defeated Komander via ref stoppage to retain the ROH World Championship
The finish of the match saw Komader walking the ropes for a shooting star press, but Claudio moved of the way. Komader jumped off the top for a moonsault, and got nailed with an uppercut by Castagnoli, which knocked Komader out.
Shawn Spears defeated The Blade
The finish of the match saw Spears hit a Thesz Press and then 10 punches on The Blade. He got the win after he nailed The Blade with a C-4.
QT Marshall & Johnny TV (w/ Harley Cameron) defeated Matt Hardy and Brother Zay
The finish saw Brother Zay getting distracted by Harley Cameron. Marshall crotched Zay on the ropes. Johnny TV then hit the Starship Pain to get the win for his team.
Post-Match: Ethan Page tried to help Hardy back up to his feet but was attacked by Johnny TV and Marshall. Page standing up for Hardy got a babyface pop from the Hamilton, Ontario fans. Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn ran into the ring to chase off the QTV crew.
Hikaru Shida defeated Taya Valkyrie
The finish saw Valkyrie go for the Road to Valhalla, but Shida countered with a rollup to get the 1, 2, 3.
