On this day in wrestling history – January 18, 1993.

The WWF held a Raw television taping at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City with 1,000 fans in attendance.

The following matches were taped 27 years ago today that would to air on the USA Network January 25, 1993.

– The late Randy “Macho Man” Savage” defeated Repo Man by pinfall in 13:30.

– Kamala defeated the Brooklyn Brawler Brawler by pinfall in 3:32. 

– The late “Mr. Perfect” Curt Henning defeated “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair in a loser leaves town match in 23:00. 

The reason the loser leaves town match took place was for Flair’s exit from the WWF, as just one month later he would return to WCW.
