Rey Mysterio Officially Leaves WWE
This week the WWE and Rey Misterio Jr. officially parted ways with the WWE moving Rey Mysterio to the “alumni” section of their website and issuing a statement saying: “Rey Mysterio is no longer under contract with WWE.” This is MASSIVE news and could potentially be big news for AAA and Lucha Underground. AAA has made it very clear that they want Rey to return to the promotion as well as compete for the Lucha Underground promotion for quite some time now. There is no word whether or not Rey has a no compete clause, but if his contract simply expired rather than him being released then he wouldn’t have one. Rey hasn’t worked for AAA since 1997 but he did appear for his Hall of Fame induction in 2007, and made a special video presentation at last years TripleMania saying that he would be returning soon. Things are about to get very interesting.

Hernandez got involved in the match attempting to Spear Puma but Puma moved causing Hernandez to hit Drago leading to Puma retaining his title. Drago is expected to still be around, maybe with a new gimmick or they will be a story around him getting back in.
– Texano/Daivari was the start of another episode and it really never got going as Texano jumped Daivari before the bell and the fight went all over the building.
