During an independent wrestling show run by the MKE Wrestling promotion at the former West Allis Knights of Columbus in Milwaukee, WI last Friday, a masked man did a run-in during a match hitting a GTS on Daryck St. Holmes costing Holmes the match.
On Saturday, MKE Wrestling released a video on Twitter implying that the masked man that did the run-in during the match was former WWE Champion CM Punk.
Current Ring of Honor star who is the owner and founder of MKE Wrestling also took to Twitter with two separate posts also implying that the masked man was CM Punk.
CM Punk attended a wrestling tournament at West Allis Central High School in Milwaukee on Saturday and took a picture with Brett Danner. It should be noted that Punk was wearing the same hoodie the masked man wore in the video from MKE Wrestling.
According to Sean Ross Sapp at fightful.com apparently Punk appeared under a hood at some point before his falling out with Colt Cabana, which would have been during the filming of Wrestling Road Diaries 3. However that scene was dropped from the final cut after Punk and Cabana’s personal issues developed.
