AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT ratings for January 22, 2020 are in.

The taped AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho Cruise Ship episode going head-to-head against WWE NXT on the the USA Network, drew 871,000 viewers on Wednesday night according to a report by showbuzzdaily.com.

This is down from last week’s show that drew an average of 940,000 viewers on TNT. Dynamite came in at No. 8 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 5 where they placed last week.

This week’s episode of NXT drew an average of 769,000 viewers on Wednesday night.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 700,000 viewers. NXT came in at No. 35 for the night on cable in the 18-49 demographics, down from No. 31 where they placed last week. This has NXT back in the Top 50 cable programs for the second Wednesday in a row after having dropped off the list the past two weeks in a row.

In overall viewership, AEW Dynamite defeated WWE NXT in the fourth head-to-head battle of 2020 in the “Wednesday Night War” by 102,000 viewers.

Demographic Ratings for AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT

NXT, which featured Keith Lee vs. Roderick Strong for the North American Championship, averaged a 0.24 rating among adults 18-49. This is up down last week’s 0.21 rating.

AEW Dynamite, headlined by an AEW World Tag Team Title Match, averaged a 0.35 rating among adults 18-49. This is up from last week’s 0.38 rating.
