According to several media outlets, NBCUniversal/USA Network officials are reportedly upset with Brock Lesnar and new SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch both being on WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Lynch made her surprise return during last Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam PPV defeating Bianca Belair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Lesnar make his surprise return to confront WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns after his main event win over John Cena.
Several reports indicate that Lesnar will be booked as a babyface on SmackDown, and Lynch will be the top heel on the show. It was also noted that WWE officials were said to have assured NBCUniversal that this is just temporary, as the WWE Draft will be in early October to “shuffle the deck.”
