Nationwide Arena reveals Championship Match for Extreme Rules

In a advertisement video, the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH, the site for next month’s Extreme Rules, PPV revealed in an advertisement video that Bianca Belair will challenge new  SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch for the title at the show. 

During last night’s SmackDown fallout show for SummerSlam,  Belair become the new No. 1 contender to the SmackDown Women’s Championship by winning a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match over Zelina Vega, Carmella and Liv Morgan. 

Lynch made her surprise return at last Saturday’s SummerSlam PPV, defeating Belair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in 26 seconds. 

As of this report, WWE has not confirmed Belair challenging Lynch for the championship at Extreme Rules, but has announced that Belair earned an upcoming title opportunity. 

WWE Extreme Rules will take place on Sunday, September 26 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The event will stream on Peacock in the United States, and WWE Network everywhere else.
