IMPACT Wrestling will air a special Knockouts Knockdown special on Saturday, October 9.
The all-women’s event will be taped this weekend at Skyway Studios in Nashville. The event will air on IMPACT Plus and the Impact YouTube channel for Ultimate Insiders.
IMPACT announced Wednesday that Melissa Santos will serve as the ring announcer, and Mickie James and Veda Scott will do play-by-play with James as the color analyst.
Knockouts Knockdown will be headlined by a Monster’s Ball match to pay tribute to former WCW and TNA star Daffney. It has also been announced that Christy Hemme will also have a “major role” on the show.
Former WWE NXT Superstar Mercedes Martinez will make her IMPACT debut on the show.

The inaugural Knockouts Knockdown event was held back in 2013 with Gail Kim winning a Gauntlet to be crowned the “Queen of the Knockouts”. IMPACT also held the event in 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 as the “Victory Road: Knockouts Knockdown.”
