Will Osprey to debut for MLW

Former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay is on his way to Major League Wrestling.

During the special Embedded segment on Thursday night’s Fightland special on Vice TV, it was announced that Ospreay will be making his MLW debut. Although no further specific details were given, it is believed that Osprey could debut at Intimidation Games on November 6th in Philadelphia, PA.

Ospreay has been in and out of the United States during the second half of 2021 working at NJPW Strong events.

The 28-year old Ospreay has spent most of his 11-year professional wrestling career with NJPW, where he is a former three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. In addition to his time in NJPW, Ospreay has also worked for Progress, Rev Pro, ROH, PWG and CZW.

Ospreay was forced to vacate the IWGP Heavyweight Title back on May 20 due to a neck injury.
