Bill Goldberg says he finally thinks he has silenced his critics

During his most recent CarCast podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg admitted that he has not had the best of in-ring performances at Saudi Arabia pay-per-view events.

The 54-year old Goldberg said that he was not completely happy about his no holds barred match he had with Bobby Lashley, but that he is satisfied to the point where he thinks it has finally silenced his critics.

I don’t have the best track record in Saudi Arabia. I’ve knocked myself out in a match, I’ve dropped The Undertaker on his head and this and that. I needed to redeem myself and I’m not happy with my performance but I’m satisfied with it to a point where I think it’s shut all these f—ers up finally.

Going into the Crown Jewel pay-per-view, Goldberg also said his knee was not completely healed, and that it was still bothering him. In talking about his real-life relationship with Lashley, he said he would not allow anyone he does not trust and love to put their hands on his son. He went on to say that Lashley is a “great individual” and that he has “wanted to work with him for years.”
