Joe Koff discusses rumors of ROH "shutting down"

Ring of Honor Chief Operating Officer Joe Koff will appear on the official ROHStrong podcast this Monday, December 20.

ROH’s Kevin Eck, host of the podcast, has already released several quotes from the podcast, including Koff addressing those who believe the promotion will not return from their current hiatus that began with last week’s Final Battle: End of an Era PPV, which was the final event before ROH talents were released from their exclusive contracts.

On the podcast, Joe states that it is not an if when the company will return but a “when” stating, “What seeped into the narrative…is that we were shutting down, when all we announced is that we were not doing any live events in the first quarter. We never used the words ‘shutting down.’”

ROH is scheduled to run WrestleMania 38 weekend in Dallas, Texas. The venue has not been officially announced. Several sources, however within have said the venue was already booked and paid for before the announcement of the hiatus.
