Brock Lesnar to appear on this Friday night's WWE SmackDown

New WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is set to make an appearance on this Friday night’s episode SmackDown, on FOX.

At the end of Monday’s episode of Raw, on the USA Network, Brock Lesnar announced that he will be on SmackDown this Friday. He made the announcement when he was asked to comment about Bobby Lashley being the new number one contender for the title.

Lashley became the new No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship, after winning the Fatal 4-Way Match on Monday Night Raw.

Roman Reigns was scheduled to defend the Universal Championship against Lesnar at the Day 1 PPV last Saturday, but the match was pulled due to Reigns testing positive for COVID-19.

Lesnar also reunited with Paul Heyman in the opening segment of Monday night’s episode of Raw. Heyman was fired and attacked by Reigns at the conclusion of the after he was fired and attacked by Reigns at the end of the December 17 episode of SmackDown.

Lashley is scheduled to challenge Lesnar for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble PPV live from The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, MO on Saturday, January 29.

Lesnar is still a “free agent” in WWE and can appear on both Raw and SmackDown.
