WWE releases Road Dogg, William Regal, Scott Armstrong, and five other employees

WWE has parted ways with some of the staff based in their Performance Center and NXT. Here is what WWE sent to some media outlets mentioning the releases:

“With the continued evolution of NXT 2.0, we’ve decided to part ways with some of the staff based in our Performance Center. We thank them for their many contributions throughout the years and wish them the best.”

Who was Released?

According to PWInsider, WWE Hall of Famer, Brian James (Road Dogg) was released this afternoon. James was an NXT Producer.

William Regal was also released today. Regal was the Director of Talent Development and Head of Global Recruiting.

Senior Vice President, Consumer Products Sarah Cummins was also released today. Sarah had been with the WWE since 2018.

Ranjin Singh (Dave Kapoor) was also released. Kapoor once managed The Great Khali. He was in Florida working for NXT.

Ace Steel (Chris Guy), who was working as a COach at the WWE Performance Center was also released.

WWE NXT Creative Producer Ryan Katz was also released.

George Carroll, who was hired as a writer and producer about a year ago was also let go by the company.

Scott Armstrong was also released today.
