Renee Paquette posted to her Twitter on Saturday that former WWE announcer Tom Phillips (real last name Hannifan) is the new play by play announcer for IMPACT Wrestling.
According to the tweet, Phillips will be debuting on tonight’s Hard to Kill PPV.
Hannifan was with WWE from 2012 through until his release this past May. PWInsider is reporting Hannifan was spotted in Dallas, TX earlier today. It is also being said Hannifan will be calling the PPV tonight with D’Lo Brown, and the TV tapings to follow.
Matt Striker is apparently gone from IMPACT Wrestling as of this past week.
