Former ROH star debuts during Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite on TBS

Former Ring of Honor star Brody King made his surprise debut during Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite.

Malaki Black was teasing for several weeks that he was going to bring in a new member to his “House of Black.”

King’s debut occurred during the match of Matt Hardy vs. Penta el Cero Miedo.

Below is an excerpt from Josh Boutwell’s recap, and two short clips from AEW’s Twitter, showing King making his debut.

Penta calls Malakai Black out and says he’ll show him some respect. The lights go out and when they come back on Black is in the ring and he attacks Abrahantes before hitting the Black Mass on Penta! Black tries to rip Penta’s mask off but the Varsity Blonds hit the ring and attack Black. Black laughs at them and the lights go out again. When they come back on BRODY KING IS IN THE DAMN RING! Black and King destroy Penta and the Varsity Blonds!

Tell us in the comments section below what you think of Brody King’s debut. Was it a big surprise? Was it a let down? Will King be a dominant star in AEW?
