Former NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff made his AEW debut during Sunday’s AEW Dark tapings at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida.
Ruff initially signed with WWE back in 2020. He was released by WWE back on and during his time with the promotion, he held the NXT North American title. He was released on August 6,2021.
Also, according to Fightful Select, former IMPACT Wrestling star Jake Something was scheduled to be booked for Sunday’s AEW Dark tapings. He finished up with IMPACT Wrestling back on March 5, having wrestled his last match at the Sacrifice event.
