According to Fightful Select, WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is coming out of retirement to wrestle in a match with Ric Flair at the Jim Crockett Promotions event on Sunday July 31, in Nashville, Tennessee, which is during SummerSlam weekend.
The report also notes this will be a tag team match, with the plan for Flair to team with ROH and AAA World Tag Team Champions FTR against The Rock N’ Roll Express and Steamboat.
Bell time is scheduled for 6:05 pm ET at the Nashville Fairgrounds, and will be available on FITE TV.
Flair confirmed on Twitter Monday that the rumors of him training with AEW and ROH star Jay Lethal for an in-ring return are indeed true.
