Conflicting reports regarding Thunder Rosa not appearing on Wednesday’s Dynamite

As first reported by PWInsider, then F4WOnline, AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa was sent home from Wednesday’s Dynamite in Los Angeles due to not feeling well, and not to an injury.

PWInsider reported the “word making the rounds is that Rosa was at the taping but wasn’t feeling well and was sent home to convalesce by the company’s doctor.”

The report from PWInsider came within just hours after WhatCulture reported their sources indicated Rosa “has become frustrated with how little she has been on-screen” including this past Wednesday night’s Dynamite, when there was no attention or focus on her title defense against Serena Deeb at the Double or Nothing PPV.

The report from WhatCulture also stated Rosa was frustrated to not be invited to Double or Nothing media scrum after the show, so that she could advertise the auctioning off of her ring gear to benefit the families of the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting. Her gear that night honored the 21 victims.

Rosa did not confirm the reports, but did say on Twitter that she is taking a few days off from social media. She also noted added she would be appearing on Friday’s edition of Busted Open Radio as part of a new weekly one-hour segment.
