It is said to be “Business As Usual” for WWE despite investigation

According to PWInsider, there are no planned changes to the production and running of this Friday night’s SmackDown, despite the news of the investigation of Vince McMahon by the WWE Board of Directors.

It was noted that staff scheduled to work SmackDown have been instructed that Vince McMahon will be present at the show, and that it was be “business as usual.”

There has been mention of John Laurinaitis. However, it was noted that his his status with the company, as of now, is “unchanged.”

The big news on Wednesday is that WWE’s Board of Directors are investigating a $3 million settlement that Vince McMahon agreed to pay to a former employee who he allegedly had an affair with. The Wall Street Journal is calling it a ‘hush pact.’
