Stephanie McMahon took to Twitter to comment on her return to WWE as the interim Chairwoman and CEO of the company.
WWE issued a press release Friday morning announcing that Vince McMahon has stepped down as CEO and Chairman of WWE while the company’s Special Committee of the Board investigates alleged misconduct by McMahon and head of talent relations John Laurinaitis.
The investigation is being conducted by the WWE Board of Directors. They are investigating a $3 million settlement, where Vince McMahon paid the amount to a former employee who he allegedly had an affair with. WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis is said to also be part of the alleged cover up.
Earl Hebner took to Twitter to comment on the passing of his brother David, who passed away on Friday at the age of 73.
David Hebner was a long-time referee in WWE.
