WWE News Bits 6/22/22: Paul Levesque In Orlando; Rhea Ripley; Creative Team Member Gone

According to John Pollack at Post Wrestling, Paul Levesque was in Orlando on Wednesday and spoke at the Performance Center. Pollack noted that the people he heard from said that Levesque stated that he is back.


It was announced this past Monday on Raw that Rhea Ripley would not be able to challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank due to injury. Ripley recently posted to Twitter a photo her mouth with a wire across her top teeth, indicating Knee -1, Teeth – 0.

Carmella defeated Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Asuka, and Becky Lynch to earn a title shot against Belair at Money in the Bank on Saturday, July 2 in Las Vegas, NV.


According to PWInsider, Dewey Foley, son of WWE Hall of Fame Mick Foley, who had been on the WWE Creative Team recently departed from WWE.  The report notes Foley left the company in late April 2022. It was further stated Foley chose to leave the company and it was not a case of him being cut.
