IMPACT color commentator Matthew Rehwoldt has his doubts the inaugural Wrestling Entertainment Series show will actually take place.
WES originally scheduled its debut show for June 4 and announced Rehwoldt would be on the commentary team. WES then pushed their debut date back to July 9. Rehwoldt had then taken to Twitter to say he had another booking that weekend and couldn’t be on the show.
On Saturday, Rehwoldt revealed on Twitter that WES offered to pay him upfront in order to be on the show and he then canceled his conflicting booking. Now Rehwoldt says that he has not received any communication or travel arrangements from WES.
Jonathan Coachman and Tom Hannifan have also been announced for the debut event.
As of this report, WES has not responded to Rehwoldt’s comments.
