Soon after Money in the Bank went off the air, Happy Corbin attacked Pat McAfee, accepting McAfee’s challenge for SummerSlam.
Corbin came out and attacked McAfee from behind and dragged him into the crowd, hit him with punches and taking him back to ringside where he laid him out with the end of days. He then yelled at McAfee that he accepted the challenge for SummerSlam on Saturday, July 30 in Nashville, TN.
McAfee and Corbin have been in a feud since Corbin had lost his Last Laugh match against Madcap Moss on Friday Night SmackDown last month. McAfee berated Corbin after he had lost that match. After McAfee had issued a challenge for a match at SummerSlam, Corbin did not respond when he was asked about it on last Friday’s SmackDown.
Later in the evening, McAfee was shown along with Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Paul Levesque at UFC 276 in a neckbrace.
