According to PWInsider, there are reportedly more Vince McMahon stories being worked on by a number of mainstream media outlets.
The report notes someone has been contacted for a potential interview for HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, and they have been prepping a potential story on the recent McMahon allegations. In addition, attempts are being made to reach out to former female employees of WWE.
PWInsider said they have confirmed that reporters for the Wall Street Journal are working on another potential story regarding Vince McMahon, and that they expect to have it published in the coming weeks. Furthermore, it was said the WSJ has been working on connecting with former WWE women’s wrestlers in recent days.
Variety ran a story this past Thursday on how the Vince McMahon scandals could jeopardize WWE’s media expansion, as the streaming rights for Raw and SmackDown expire this year.
