During Thursday’s media call to promote this Saturday’s ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, AEW CEO and President Tony Khan revealed The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe) are now under long-term contracts with Ring of Honor.
The Briscoes are 12-time ROH Tag Team Champions. They were inducted into the ROH Hall of Fame this past April, as part of the the promotion’s inaugural Hall of Fame class.
The Briscoes won the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships in May, and then dropped them to The Good Brothers in June. There was an injury angle with the team on a recent episode of IMPACT to write them off TV.
The Briscoes are challenging FTR for the ROH Tag Team Titles in a two-out-of-three falls match at this Saturday’s Death Before Dishonor PPV.
