CM Punk revealed how bad his foot injury really was at Saturday’s San Diego Comic-Con.
Punk was part of the AEW panel at the event. He said that his foot was shattered and that he is re-learning to walk. He also said there is no current timeline for when he will return to in-ring action.
Punk revealed during the June 3 episode of AEW Rampage, just five night’s after winning the AEW World Championship from “Hangman” Adam Page at Double or Nothing that he had a foot injury.
Jon Moxley became the interim AEW World Champion at last month’s Forbidden Door PPV, defeating Hiroshi Tanahashi.
