WWE announces match for SummerSlam has been postponed

WWE announced on Wednesday the match between Seth Rollins and Riddle that was scheduled for this Saturday’s SummerSlam has been postponed.

During Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s The Bump, the announcement was made, and it was stated that Riddle suffered a “brachial plexus injury” from the attack by Rollins on this past Monday’s Raw.

WWE also noted Riddle’s injury is a “really bad stinger,” and he has experienced some significant weakness. It was further said that Riddle is medically unable to compete until he regains full strength.

Monday’s Raw closed with an angle of this where Rollins attacked Riddle and stomped his head into the steel steps. The attack was done after Riddle and The Street Profits lost to Roman Reigns and The Usos.
