WWE CEO and Chairwoman Stephanie McMahon noted on social media Tuesday that this past weekend’s became the most-watched SummerSlam in company history.
According to PWInsider, one major change that has happened over the last several weeks in WWE is the loosening up of freedom for the talents when they speak on the mic, giving them the ability to improvise more. It was also noted a sizeable portion of the Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre match that took place on last Friday night’s SmackDown was called in the ring vs. every single spot laid out to them ahead of times.
WWE announced on Tuesday the appointment of Craig Stimmel as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales & Partnerships. Stimmel, who previously held leadership roles across Snapchat, Procter and Gamble and NCR, will report to WWE Chairwoman & co-CEO Stephanie McMahon and WWE co-CEO Nick Khan. Stimmel earned his Bachelor of Science in Business-Accounting from the University of Dayton.
